Chapel
Chapel is one of the most treasured moments of our week at Sunlight. Students gather together to sing, pray, hear God's Word, and be reminded that they are deeply loved by their Creator. It's a time when the whole school family unites in worship — voices raised, hearts open, and eyes lifted to Jesus.
A glimpse of our students worshiping together in chapel.
Why Chapel Matters
Scripture calls us to "train up a child in the way he should go" (Proverbs 22:6). When children worship alongside their peers and teachers, they learn that faith isn't a private, once-a-week idea — it's a shared, joyful rhythm of life.
Songs plant God's truth in young hearts in a way that lasts far beyond childhood.
Hearing Scripture taught in community helps children see the Bible as living and true.
Chapel unites every grade — from preschoolers to seniors — as one family of faith.
Regular worship shapes character, gratitude, and a lifelong love for Jesus.
"Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven."
Matthew 19:14
